The Medical Nutrition Therapy Act is a bill that would expand Medicare coverage for dietitians from only education for renal (kidney) and diabetes issues to a wide range of medical nutrition needs, allowing people who can't afford self-pay education to attempt to manage diagnoses with lifestyle changes before using medications.
