Canada the land known for ice sports such as hockey, the beautiful national parks and for poutine. The locals worship at Tim Hortons and people are too polite for their own good, ey. These are all stereotypes, but Canada still holds allure for the many Pinoys who want to find their homes outside of the Philippines, the perceived friendlier alternative to it's neighbor, USA. We travel there to the city of Winnipeg with our guest kumareng Charmagne. Moving at a later age, she recounts how her move wasn't much of a transition since the country has a huge Filipino population. She grows closer to the locals who welcome her with open arms.
