Greg and Dan talk to Marty Wombacher, creator of the long-running blog “Meanwhile, Back in Peoria,” which he started 13 years ago and continues to write today! Marty shares the story behind his popular live storytelling series, “Marty’s Monologues,” which first debuted in 2018 before taking a break during COVID. Now, after five years, it’s finally making its comeback with a brand-new show titled “You’ve Got Jail” - happening this Sunday, November 9th at Kenny’s Westside Pub.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show begins at 7:00 PM. Marty also talks about what inspires his writing, what fans can expect from this new show, and what’s next for both his blog and storytelling journey.
