Marvel Director Chase Conley: On losing friends over Sobriety, why finishing the job means getting chosen, Miles Morales, and forgetting how he met Jasper, twice.
Chase is now the Episodic Director at Marvel Animation Studios working on X-Men 97', but got his start copying pages from the comic books his grandpa would get him in town. This led him on an incredible journey from being offered a job at Marvel at 19 (and turning it down), moving to Korea while working as a comic illustrator, and more, and being supported by the few other Black visionaries in his industry.
