In the early 2000s, Marvel tried an experiment – restart the stories of fan favorite characters in a new universe. A universe that does not have all the baggage of decades and decades of thousands of issues. A universe that is accessible to new readers and attractive to young readers. It hit Evan at the perfect time and ended up being some of his favorite comic book stories.

In this episode, we take a fly over of this alternate Marvel comics universe . . . which introduced many concepts for the MCU and also introduced some lasting characters like Miles Morales.

And at the end . . . some seriously Weak Connections . . . but ones that led to some interesting spiritual conversation.
