Hello and happy spooky season.
Between August and November 1888 at least 5 women were murdered by Jack the Ripper, and whilst there are tons of books, podcasts, and documentaries focused on the identity of the killer his victims; Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddows, and Mary Jane Kelly who are known as the canonical five are meer footnotes. However, we think it's more important we remember the women he killed and the lives they led. So, join us for a six part mini-series that looks at each of the victims lives, with one last podcast dedicated to possible Ripper Victims.
Starting us off we have Mary Ann ‘Polly’ Nichols.
Due to the nature of the topic, this podcast is not going to be family friendly. We are also giving a trigger warning for alcoholism, prostitution, and murder and mutilation.
