Many have misunderstood the divine mystery of Jesus Christ—who he is, where he came from, and what his birth truly means. Today, we unravel the greatest truth ever told: God Himself took flesh and walked among us!
John 1:1-3 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word is God. He was with God in the very beginning. Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. (The Spirit of God)
John 1:14 – The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (Emmanuel)
The Word is not just speech; the Word is the Spirit of God! This Spirit, which existed before time, took flesh in the womb of a woman—just as every spirit takes flesh in the womb of a woman. But this was no ordinary birth, for the Word was God Himself! Hallelujah! Mary could not give birth to what already existed before time!
