DESCRIPTION:  Today in our Podcast. I will share Part 2 of our  BLACK HISTORY MOMENT from Miami, Dade County, Florida.  I had an opportunity to visit Miami, Florida.  My family and I met up with a cousin who escorted us to see all three of our aunts, my husband's mother's sisters, and the last living uncle.  Uncle Marshall Banks will be eighty -six years old on his next birthday.  This is Part 2 of our  Black History Moment.  As we reflect on where the Lord has brought us as a people joy fills the atmosphere’  Psalm twenty -three comes to mind. “ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.  The blessings and good things in life are enjoyed only because of God.  Time and time again we have faced hard times, but God was always there.  Don’t stop looking to God He has proved Himself to be God.  The GRACE of God is AMAZING just like the songwriter penned many years ago.  It will not matter how it has been His GRACE is still AMAZING. “I have been young, andnow am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” Psalm 37:35King James Version (KJV)

DESCRIPTION:  Today in our Podcast. I will share a  BLACK HISTORY MOMENT from Miami, Dade County, Florida.  I had an opportunity to visit Miami, Florida.  My family and I met up with a cousin who escorted us to see all three of our aunts, my husband's mother's sisters, and the last living uncle.  Uncle Marshall Banks will be eighty -six years old on his next birthday.  This Black History Moment will take us back eighty years.  Time has changed in many ways, but the God we serve is still the same.  Uncle Marshall sheds light on how hard times were. While talking and listening to him, it reminds me of the scripture in Psalm thirty – seven and thirty- five "I have been young, andnow am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." Psalm 37:35 King James Version (KJV).  Hold fast to God's promises. You will never be forsaken in Jesus Name.

DESCRIPTION: Today let us talk about a promise. What is a Promise? Have you ever made a PROMISE?

Did you keep the PROMISE that you made?

A Promise is an agreement to do or not do something.

The Word of God is Promising, it gives grounds for feeling

hopeful about life. God’s Word is filled with Promises. God is

truth and He is faithful to fulfill every one of His Promises. We

SCRIPTURE TEXT: The scripture from Matthew 21:13.

My house shall be called the house of prayer; serves as a guiding light for our discussion on the significance of prayer in the

home.

DESCRIPTION: Today Podcast is a powerful reminder of the significance of prayer in your home. As Joshua declared in the twenty-fourth chapter and the latter clause of verse 15, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Many of us came from homes where there was some type of prayer, but it was in various forms. The scripture tells us to pray without ceasing.

This is not the time to stop prayer in the home. Prayers nurture the legacy of faith, a legacy that has been passed down from generation to generation, connecting us all in a larger spiritual community. Once the family begins to value and believe in prayer, it becomes a torch passed on, and the flame will not go

out. As we remain consistent with a life of prayer, we can expect God to reveal His glory. “IT ONLY TAKES A MOMENT!”
