<p>Gwynedd Alumna Mary Ott '75 joined the US Agency for International Development as a Foreign Service economist in 1984 and retired as a Career Minister in 2016. She spent the early years of her career traveling around Central America and the Caribbean as an economist, undertaking analyses of macroeconomic trends and overseeing programs to support economic policy reforms.</p>
