Mary and Laharn Community Action group are talking about how they are maintaining the old tradition of dancing at the crossroads at their nearby crossroads at Laharn, situated at the foot of the Baelic Mountains in North Cork .

Dancing at the crossroads would have been something that was a lot more frequent before the introduction of the dancehalls and a better transport infrastructure . In Laharn it saw a revival in the 1990’s. It takes place every Sunday from 8 to 10pm.
