With a career spanning many years, Maryanne G. Courtney started out as a psychology major at Ohio University. In the midst of trying to figure out what she was going to do with that degree, she realized her true desire was to make a positive mark in a young person’s life. Similar to one that a high school teacher made on her’s. From there she went on to pursue her degree in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities.

Maryanne has taught all levels of education ranging from pre-school to 21 year olds and still gets teary-eyed telling stories about their accomplishments.
