Jeremy Dennis is an Indigenous artist and founder of Ma’s House, an art studio for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) artists on Shinnecock land. Hunter Begun is Director of Production at Ma’s House, as well as an Indigenous artist and host of the Ma’s House podcast. They joined General Manager Diane Masciale at the WLIW-FM studio for a conversation about how Ma’s House came to be, what they’re doing currently for the community, and what they envision for the organization’s future. Jeremy touches on the importance of having a space specifically for BIPOC artists to create, especially in our region, and Hunter outlines some of what the Ma’s House podcast holds.
