Masjid Al Aqsa is sacred in the Muslim world. This nasheed references Surah Al-Isra (17) when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) made his Night Journey. May Allah allow us to cherish His holy site, may He safeguard it, and may He protect the worshipers from any harm.

ARABIC+ ENGLISH:
مِن كُلِّ محرابٍ نُطِلُّ عليكَ يا أقصى العيونْ من سورةِ الإسراءِ مِن جرحٍ ترتّلهُ الشجونْ في كلِّ ترتيلٍ صدى يرجو لساحِكَ موعِدا في كلِّ قلبٍ مُسلمٍ قدسٌ ومسرىً لا يهونْ

ولنا رِحالٌ لم تُشَدَّ حَدا بِها شوقُ الرّحيلْ ولنا صلاةٌ لم تُؤدَّ أذانُها في كُلِّ جيلْ وفواتِحٌ لكَ حينُها لم تلتحِم آمينُها ولنا هضابٌ تينُها بينَ الجوانحِ لا الغصونْ

لن تمّحي ذكرى مقَامِكَ يا مُصلّى الأنبياءْ الأرضُ في أشواقِنا إن غبتَ تنقُصُها سماءْ كحياتِنا هي قدُسُنا مِنها ستُشرقُ شمسُنا يا وجهَها الذهبيَّ إنّا بانعتاقِكَ مؤمنونْ عاشت وعاشَ منارُها لن تنطفي أنوارُها
ما دام إسلامٌ على الدُّنيا يضيءُ ومسلمونْ..

From each mehrab (mosque), we can see you O dear Aqsa
When we read Surah Al-Isra, through a wound that is stroked by longings
With every recitation, there is an echo that hopes for an appointment within your yards
In each Muslim heart, there lives this santuary & precious place

We have yet to pack luggage that is needed to start the journey
We have yet to offer Salah that has been performed in every generation
We have prayers meant for you yet to reach their Ameen
We have green hills that give figs, they grow inside chests not on branches

Your memory can never be erased, for you are the Mosque of all Prophets
In our dreams, the earth with you is a lacking a sky
Our santuary is as precious as life, from there our sun will rise again
O you, golden face of the city, we are strong believers that you'll be liberated
May it and its minarets be preserved
It will never lose its light
As long as Islam shines upon this world & as long as Muslims remain
