Join Chris and Matt as they give you the grand tour of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, a resort at the top of Chris's wish list. Learn about the dining experiences, the room designs, the transportation options (including the monorail), and find out how a former Beatle has Matt staunchly against staying at this resort. In this episode, Chris welcomes back his guest co-host Westley to discuss their June 2024 WDW trip. They review several firsts for them, including flying out of Worcester, staying in a new off-property hotel, watching the new drone show at Disney Springs, and playing the DuckTales World Showcase Adventure game.
Chris invites guest cohost Westley back for this episode so that they can discuss their thoughts and review of the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Having stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter back in February 2024, they share their experiences, their dining choices, and of course, beignets!
On this very special episode, Chris hands over the reins of the show to Matt, so that he can discuss his all-time favorite live show at Walt Disney World - Tarzan Rocks! Join Matt as he takes Chris and the audience on a journey into the darkest depths of the jungle (or, in this case, Animal Kingdom). Matt recounts, in full detail, how Tarzan Rocks was born and the experiences audiences in the late 90s and early 2000s got to have when seeing this show live.
Chris and (a very reluctant Matt) discuss the upcoming plan's for Universal Orlando's Epic Universe theme park, scheduled to open in 2025. We discuss the main hub, the four lands connected to the hub, dining options and hotels. We also ponder on whether this is finally Universal's time to shine, or if Disney will still be the victor.
