Let’s talk about cults, baby!

Remember how we can’t count? Well, that’s fine because our Christmas present (Solstice present, Hanukah present, or whatever winter holiday you celebrate present) to you is CULT WEEK!

Maggie is up first and, instead of telling you about raccoons eating grapes, she’s going to talk about the Rajneeshees. Just kidding, she’s also going to talk about raccoons eating grapes because it’s probably relevant. So, the Rajneeshees were bananas and were all about sex and taking over the small town of Antelope, Oregon. The Antelopians were not all about that life and what ensued was a passive aggressive war that ended in aggressive aggressive and some mass poisoning. Nobody died, so that’s really cool.

Dreia’s cult is all about people dying because she’s talking about the Church of Euthanasia. The leader of the Church of Euthanasia is like a really dark Greta Thunberg and this leader is super into saving the world through the extermination of the human race. The motto of this cult is “Save the planet, kill yourself” or something ridiculous like that. We don’t endorse this cult, but we do endorse finding ways to reduce your carbon footprint like recycling and riding your bike to work. Please do not kill yourself for the sake of the planet.
