This week the Motivated Martial Artists Jackson White and Gavin Cook talk to 7th degree Martial Arts Master, Author and Instructor Karen Eden Herdman.
Karen eden is a 7th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do an achievement that took over 30 years of dedication and hard work making her one of a very few women to have the rank of Grandmaster in the world!
She is most well known in the industry for her inspirational writing appearing in every major martial arts magazine in the USA and the world, including six magazine covers of her own.Her ability to turn everyday struggles into life lessons started in the martial arts industry over 20 years ago, where she became known as the “Master of Inspiration.” Karen has written 4 books and writes two karate columns a month for MASuccess magazine and Taekwondo Times magazine. Her poem “I Am a Martial Artist” spun off an entire product line which has successfully sold around the world (Copyright Century Martial Arts.) She has since produced 3 product lines including “I Am a Martial Artist” and “They Call Me Master (copyright Century Martial Arts.”) Her third line “Dojo Darling” / “Dojo Disciple” wear was created to give struggling kids something to wear when they couldn’t afford a uniform.
Karen also talks about her work in two major Hollywood productions, including stunt work in Van Damme’s “Sudden Death,” and a feature role in “Sworn to Justice” tune in this week to hear some inspirational stories from a woman whose dedication and hard work will be sure to motivate you today !
