When taking about faith with a friend, she told me about how a family member asked what her spiritual hill to die on was. I responded that I think the phrasing makes it sound like a battle and while I will die for my faith, I won't kill for it. I'm learning what it looks like to be an evangelical who know what he believes but is also compassionate and kind and genuine in a world where evangelical holds so much more negative connotation.
