“I used LinkedIn in a specific way. Like, if I'm making clothes for a client, I'll punch them into LinkedIn, then I'll see who our mutual connections are. Or, I'll see who their connections are in the same industry. And then I will then target that person in that same industry. And I'll use the referral name, a soft referral, but I'll say, I don't know whether you know this, but I also make clothes for and I'll name off three or four or five people in his industry that I know he would know. It's not like they gave me that referral, I will just mention those names to them, and so I can use LinkedIn all day long. That's kind of an endless means.”
