Our guest for this episode is UK author and psychologist Phillip Adcock.
Dennis had the honor and pleasure of sitting down with Mr. Adcock and having an amazing conversation about shopping psychology and a little bit about the brain. Also talking about why understanding "shoppers Psychology" should be important for companies, what roles do emotions play in becoming a successful person, weather one truly masters their brain or not and much more
So, who is Phillip Adcock?
Phillip Adcock (Linkedin.com) is what you would call, a "Shopping Psychologist" which entails providing clear and actionable shopper understanding that simplifies shopping, improves the customer experience and enriches trading relationships. He is managing director at "Shopping Behaviour Xplained Ltd". He has worked with companies like Apple, Canon, Coca-Cola, Kellogg's, Samsung, Warner Brothers and much much more. He has also authored 3 books including "The Presenter's Handbook: How to Give a Captivating Presentation - Every Time!", "Shoppology: The Science of Supermarket Shopping & a Strategy to Spend Less and Get More" and my personal favorite "Master Your Brain: Training Your Mind for Success in Life".
When Mr. Adcock is not discovering new things the brain is capable of doing, he is spending most of this time swimming and riding horses since his motorcycle riding days are little to none.
