Gerald Asbell Jr. is a native New Yorker and veteran stage and film actor. His career started in radio working for "The Quiet Storm" on NYC's W.B.L.S. Radio. When he met legendaary producer Shelly Garrett, Gerald was encouraged, mentored and casted the leading role in Garret's hit stage play "Beauty Shop". His blessings continued as he was regularly booked in Soap Operas, musicals, runway show, and print ads. Along with his wife Melissa Santos, Sandbell Cultural Arts Academy" was developed, created, and opened The Asbells often say, "The next generation of talent may be right in front of you.
