Jason Barrett is a Jamaican British Actor actor, script writer, black studies teacher, and comic book creator. Jason's beginnings involved a strong influence in the church. It served as a way to keep him focused and out of trouble. Jason fell in love with comics at the age of 9 as a way to escape the realities of living in the projects in England. He loved the Superman and Thor stories the most.  but as he got older he realized that the same comics that he celebrated also depicted black people in unfavorable light. During a 6 year stent for a gun charge in the UK he developed 7 different scripts. One of the scripts was for his comic Heru: The First Hero that tells the story of a runaway slave finding an asteroid with magical powers that gives him powers that he can use to change the world.
