After living in Mexico and rock climbing all season in El Potrero Chico, Mike Burdon thought he was taking a day off to go canyoneering in the Matacanes Canyon. It sounded fun: explore river rapids, waterfalls, and underground tunnels with his buddy Chuy. However, the day quickly turned dangerous and they barely got out alive.
