Matalena Leaupepe is the Director of the Government Centre, Dispute Resolution for MBIE Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment but in her free time she likes to go for a walk or run to keep fit.

Running the 10k Cigna Round the Bays used to be the biggest physical challenge Matalena used to aim for each year but this year the challenge was to run the Hawkes Bay half marathon which was cancelled due to Covid19.

The cancellation of the marathon didn’t deter Matalena from covering the distance and she’s on the line with us now to tell us about how she did that.
