Listen Later

It felt at some points this season as though it would never happen, but after 353 days the curtain has finally fallen on the 2019/2020 season.

There was still plenty to play for on the final day of the season, with relegation and places in the Champions League up for grabs. We discuss Aston Villa's great escape, as Watford and Bournemouth join Norwich in the Championship next season. The implications of *that* goal for Sheffield against Villa, and what will the future hold for Eddie Howe, Bournemouth and Watford?

At the other end of the table, in a shoot out for the top 4 it was Manchester United who come out on top against Leicester. Is this a stepping stone for the Old Trafford club, and can they learn from the last 7 years and kick on? How will Leicester fans view the season, is 5th a success or having been so far clear in 3rd will the end of the season ultimately look like a disappointment? Elsewhere in the race for Europe, Frank Lampard guided his Chelsea team back into the Champions League after was has been a good first season for him at Stamford Bridge.

And we of course round up all the other action from the final day including, Kevin De Bruyne equalling Thierry Henry's assist record, Southampton's fine finish to the season, Chris Wilder manager of the season?, Mourinho celebrating 6th place, and why you shouldn't buy old Italian football shirts if you need a large.
