You can use it to enhance what you’re already doing in math or as a great foundation if you’re not sure what you’re doing and don’t have a math program (or one you like to use or are required to use, anyway). Counting the School Days - Counting the school days is a quick and easy activity that requires little prep and planning and is one of the best ways to introduce, reinforce, and practice numbers, counting, value, and place value. Get some ideas for setting up your math gathering/calendar area as well as how to start your daily math activities on the first day/week of school.
