Lord Krishna is known for cracking the pots which Gopis used to carry on their heads. These pots actually represent the set of age-long customs, beliefs, rituals etc which we follow just out of fear and by breaking those orthodox protocols, He lifts off the unnecessary burden from the devotees' mind because spirituality is all about freedom. _ When krishna blew His flute on the divine night of Sharad poornima, all those Gopis who could hear it ran towards Him. As they arrived, Krishna asked them to return because it was not right for women to be out at that late hour in the night. The gopis replied “All the teachings about righteousness are meant for one single purpose i.e. to attain God. Now when You have called us, what else is left to be achieved for which we should be righteous.” This is called total surrender in Love- leaving aside all the bodily fears, social taboos, cultural norms and even the religious beliefs, the devotee takes His refuge alone.
