In this special solo episode, Sarah explores the sacred balance between giving and receiving, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from always being the one who holds space for others.
Drawing from her celebration of Navratri, the wisdom of sisterhood, and her own spiritual journey, Sarah invites us to question the belief that our worth is measured by how much we give.
What happens when the caregiver needs care? When the strong woman needs somewhere to rest?
Join Sarah for a heartfelt conversation about boundaries, reciprocity, self-worth, and remembering that we, too, are worthy of being nurtured.
Because even the woman who holds the world deserves to be held.
Sex, Longing, and the One That Got AwaySome lovers leave footprints on our hearts, others leave scorch marks. We explore responsibility, discernment, community, and what it means to hold people accountable without losing our humanity in the process.

In the first episode of Matriarchy Mondays, Yeshe, Devanna, Sara, and Kat sit down for an honest conversation about what matriarchy really means. They talk about the recent storms, the feeling of unsettled land, the ways women ground themselves through the earth, and what happens when that sense of stability is shaken.
The conversation also explores matriarchy as something deeper than women simply taking over. It is about restoring balance, creating strong communities, reclaiming women’s voices, and making space for men to stand beside us as we build something healthier together.
In episode 5 of Matriarchy Mondays, we cover Life Initiations: what happens when life itself provides (or forces!) the initiation that yields fundamental changes in you: body, mind, and spirit? Who do we become when these initiations take hold, and how can we honor the former identities that contributed to our being and becoming:Soteira.org@soteiratemple
In this episode of Matriarchy Mondays, we explore spirits of place, the pieces of ourselves we leave behind as we travel, and the ways our homes become sacred hearths. We also ask what happens when we step away from obedience and punishment culture and instead choose curiosity, celebration, and creative resolution. A conversation about tending place, tending home, and tending the parts of ourselves that still need wonder.
In this episode of Matriarchy Mondays, Kat, Devanna, Sara, and Yeshe enter into a deeply personal conversation about the Blood Mysteries and the ways menstruation, menopause, cycles, and the changing body have been understood, hidden, celebrated, and shamed across generations.
Beginning with reflections on the intense energy surrounding the recent eclipse, the conversation moves into the rhythms of the body and the ancient relationship between blood, cycles, intuition, healing, and sacred practice. The women share their own experiences of first menstruation, cultural and familial taboos, coming-of-age rites, menstrual blood as sacred substance, changing relationships with their cycles, and the unexpected grief and transformation that can accompany menopause.
They also explore what is lost when menstruation is treated as something dirty, embarrassing, or purely clinical, and what can be reclaimed when women begin speaking openly about their bodies again.
From moon-time ceremonies and menstrual art to hot flashes, womb wisdom, generational silence, and the wild second adolescence of menopause, this episode asks us to reconsider what we have been taught about women's blood and who benefits when its mysteries remain hidden.
Because blood is not simply something the body sheds.
Blood is life.
Episode 2: Written in the Bones | DNA, Lineage & What We Inherit
In this episode of Matriarchy Mondays Devanna, Yeshe, Flora, and Kat explore the threads that connect us to those who came before.
The conversation moves through DNA, ancestry, lineage, inherited memory, family patterns, identity, and the ways our histories can shape us long before we fully understand them. From the stories held in our families to the deeper question of what may be carried through generations, the four women reflect on what it means to know where we come from and how that knowledge influences who we choose to become.
This is a conversation about inheritance in all its forms, biological, emotional, cultural, and spiritual. It is about honoring our ancestors without being bound by every pattern they passed down, recognizing what deserves to be carried forward, and deciding what ends with us.
As always, Matriarchal Mondays brings four different perspectives to the table, with curiosity, laughter, lived experience, and plenty of room for the conversation to wander exactly where it needs to go.
Some things are written in our stories.
Some may be written in our bones.
