Matrix's reference server implementation Synapse has a lot to keep in its database. This week in Matrix, William tells us about the State Compressor he wrote during his internship to reduce the size of Synapse's database.

He also worked on Synapse modules API, and on Sydent, Matrix' Identity Server to make the configuration more straightforward.
