Governor Matt Bevin began the conversation talking about the economic development tool that is the Kentucky Derby. He also re-iterated his opinion that Judge Phillip Shepherd does not care about or follow the law, is not qualified for his job, and is an embarrassment to our legal system. The Governor then addressed the JCPS takeover, praised Superintendent Dr. Marty Pollio, and said that everyone’s goals are the same. Everyone wants a better JCPS. Lastly, medical marijuana, vetoes, and whether or not he will run for re-election were all discussed.
