Matt Biondi is an 11-Time Olympic Medalist and former world record holder in five events. Matt competed at the Olympics for Team USA in 1984, 1988, and 1992 and was a mainstay in the international swim scene during the entirety of his college and professional career. Matt grew up in the small town of Moraga, California in the San Fransisco Bay Area and started swimming at the age of 5. Despite starting at such a young age, Matt did not start training and competing year-round until he was 15 years old and he believes that focusing on other sports and hobbies when he was young only intensified his love for swimming as he got older.
