Matt Botwood is a professional landscape photographer based in a remote part of the Brecon Beacons in south Wales.
As someone who scouts and works daily in the landscape where he has based his family home, Matt can justifiably be referred to as a true 'Landscape Photographer's Photographer' and has been recognised by his peers as such in the 2014 Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards. Ffoton asked photographer Rob Hudson to join us on our trip to Matt's home in early January 2015 and the resulting conversation between the two is fascinating listening for anyone interested in intensive project-based landscape and woodland photography.
