Matt is the singer, guitarist, and principal songwriter for the bands The Classic Crime and Vocal Few.  After going independent in 2011, Matt had to find new ways to adapt and survive in the overcrowded music industry.  Over the last ten years, Matt has worked diligently to cultivate an audience of extremely loyal fans as evidenced by the multiple massively overfunded Kickstarter campaigns he has launched for his various projects.  Matt's highest priority is crafting music that is honest, vulnerable, and from the heart. He trusts that the hours spent painstakingly carving out new material will eventually reward him with a product he is proud of, a mindset he carries with him as he gears up to write The Classic Crime's seventh full-length record of all new music.
