Put them together and you have a sport that pushes its athletes to reach all-new levels of mental and physical strengths. Chessboxing may still be a niche sport, but champion Matt Thomas is hoping his favorite hobby starts to enamor other athletes around the country who love to be pushed on the board and in the ring. Thomas shares his insights from his championship debut at the Chessboxing World Championship back in 2019, and his time spent on a little reality show called Love is Blind!
