Matte and Glossy Lipstick Tutorial | Choose the best colors for your Lips

Hello Dear Makeup Artists,
This is Alysha back again with another Makeup vlog on Makeup Power Community. I remember, I shared a video tutorial of MAC lipstick with you in my first video. Today I also made this short video with some of my favorite Glossy and Matte lipsticks. At the beginning of the post I want to give a small definition about matte and glossy lipsticks.
Matte Lipstick
The formula is pretty consistent with all the shades I have except for Dolce, I need to do 2/3 swipes to get my desired lip look with that color. Otherwise, the colors and the opacity of the lipsticks are best to me. I applied all the lipsticks with no lip liner other than when it came to Ashton, I don’t know I just love the combination of my Ashton and Jordana Natural lip liner. Overall I am so happy to have these all.
Glossy Lipstick
The glosses in Vintage and Caramel are super opaque, I didn’t apply any lip liner underneath while doing the swatches so you can tell. Also, they’re not as sticky as my Fenty gloss bomb which also is a plus point to me. And they have these tiny flakes of shimmer in them which give such a nice sheen!
💄 Ashton: I started my video with this. Aston is one of my commonly used lipsticks. I usually don't go out without lipstick. I use it on normal days except on occasion. Unconditional love for this color. Tell me how I look?
💄 Hudson: Another Favorite matte lipstick of mine. Just a tad bit more cool toned than Ashton. It is also used for normal use. Hudson looks great with formal makeup.
💄 Dolce: I love this color so much. Teenage girls use it the most in our country. I usually use dolce when going to university.
💄 Kathryn: It is the most favorite of pink lovers. See a posh vibe in its name. I usually use it for birthdays or any domestic occasion.
💄 Strawberry: I am so obsessed with this one. Its natural color is very attractive. It can be used in any function. Mom says, I look more attractive with this color.
💄 American Doll: I can say this one is the most eye catching lipstick I have ever had. A perfect shade of red is shown through this lipstick. Usually brides use this color with their makeup.
💄 Tulip: I think it is the darker version of American doll. It is the best choice for those who like to use dark lipstick.
💄 Vintage Gloss: It is the most common among glossy lipsticks. A subtle cool toned blush pink. This lipstick is very popular to keep lips looking good in winter.
💄 Caramel Gloss: A more Peachy pink. I'd say it's a glossy version of Hudson. But I like it very much.
This was my short lipstick tutorial. Here I have tried some of my favorite matte and glossy lipsticks. Hope you will get some ideas about natural lipstick color from this video. I'm usually more comfortable with matte lipsticks. Comment which lipstick looks best on me.
