WHAT ARE COMMON RESPONSES TO JESUS?

Doubt is a common response to Jesus. (Matt 11:2-11)

Opposition is a common response to Jesus. (Matthew 11:12-15)

Indifference is a common response to Jesus. (Matthew 11:16-19)

Rejection in the form of unrepentance is a common response to Jesus. (Matthew 11:20-24)

WHY IS JESUS OFFENSIVE? 

Jesus is offensive because following Him means death to self. (Matthew 10:38)

Jesus is offensive because it is the Father’s eternal plan to exalt the Son.
