In this sermon, Pastor Nathan teaches: “Get to know Jesus while you go through it.” Pastor reads the Scripture passage, which includes how Jesus feeds the five thousand. He describes the difference between course work (book study) and field work (hand’s on). He goes on to explain that there are lessons you can’t learn while being warm, dry and comfortable; some lessons can only be learned when cold, wet, terrified and exhausted. He preaches that in the field, we learn that Jesus: 1 – will heal, 2 – will provide, 3 – will meet us in the storm. So: Take heart.
