* Twice Peter jumped out of a boat.

* vs 28-29 - In this instance we see a sweet dance between the natural and supernatural.

* In the natural:

* Peter lifted himself over the side of the boat and made a walking motion toward Jesus.

* In the supernatural:

* He didn’t sink!

* Peter didn’t sit there and wait for the Holy Spirit to lift him out of the boat and start moving his legs.

* When he received the clear command to get out of the boat he did his part in the natural.

* When he did his part God took over and did His part!

* Peter acting in the natural showed his faith.

* God acting in the supernatural showed how He rewards our faith.

* vs 30 - when he took his focus off Jesus he lost the power of the supernatural.
