As the disciples continuously heard Jesus speak about the end of the world, and the destruction of the temple, they wanted to know when such things would happen, and what evidences/signs would occur in the world that would let them understand that Jesus Christ has returned, and the end of the world has arrived.  

However, are their questions and the answers Jesus Christ gave them relevant in our time? Or do they just refer to events that took place 2000 years ago?
