* The money in Luke was minas.
* * A mina was worth about 3 months wages. A talent was 60 minas.

* The amount of money in Matt was given to three men, each according to their ability.
* The amount of money in Luke was given to ten men all equally - one talent each.

* The first two men in Matthew doubled what they were given.
* The first two men in Luke increased a lot (1000% & 500%).

* The third guy in both buried what he was given.

* The reward in Matthew - the first two were given authority and got to enter the joy of their master.
* The reward in Luke - the first two were given charge over the same amount of cities in which the improved upon their money (the 1000% guy got 10 cities, the 500% guy got 5 cities).
* * in Matt the distribution was according to ability at the beginning.
* * in Luke the distribution was according to ability at the end.

* The third guy in both was unfaithful.
* His behavior was determined by how he saw his master.
