<p>From Matthew 24 Jesus is preparing His disciples for His departure.  With the parable of the Ten Virgins at the beginning of Matthew 25 Jesus warns the disciples to be ready.  In the parable of the talents Jesus shows what readiness is.  As a group the servants did well as they went from 8 talents to 15 talents but it is important to note that Jesus judged each of them individually.</p>
