* Satan attacks at the level of relationship.

* Three Temptations:

* 1) Please yourself (vs 1-3) - meet your need your way.

* Vs 4 - God supplies all my needs.

* Sin is fulfilling a God-given need in a God-forbidden way.

* 2) Prove yourself (vs 5-6) - show people what you can do.

* Vs 7 - I don’t need to test God.

* We test God by putting ourselves in a situation where we need a miracle to get us out.

* 3) Provide for yourself (vs 8-9) - take for yourself what God will rightfully give to you.

* Vs 10 - I will only worship God and none others - I only have one master.

* Jesus focused on the Person not the Platform or the Promise.

* Vs 11 - Satan went away…for a while.
