A father never denies his hungry child bread, nor does he give a stone instead. In the same way, those who continually seek, ask, and knock will receive what is truly good from their Father in heaven. He already knows what His children need, yet He invites them to come to Him with trust, just as a child depends on a loving parent. If imperfect people give good gifts, how much more will the One who is perfect respond—so why hesitate to keep asking? Seek the Lord in prayer daily. He is faithful to respond.
