The One Lost Sheep

Matthew Chapter 25

Listen Later

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells the parable of the wise and foolish virgins—some who entered the wedding feast and others who were shut out. The difference between them was the wise virgins kept oil in their lamps. But what does that oil represent spiritually?

Join us as we begin to put the pieces together, exploring whether Scripture gives us clues about what this “oil” looks like in our own lives. While the Bible tells us, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9), it also reminds us that “faith without works is dead” (James 2:14).

How do these truths fit together? And what does the Bible tell us about keeping our lamps filled with oil?

FEBRUARY 12! We begin our new Bible study on the book of Mark. Start the new year right by aligning yourself with God's word. We are putting Him to the test, and seeing just how His word is ALIVE & ACTIVE!
