00:26 – Jesus preaches the Sermon on the Mount, inviting us to transcend some aspects of the Law of Moses and to become Celestial people.

09:43 – In the Beatitudes found in Matthew 5.1-11, the Greek word, makarioi, is translated as “blessed.” Another translation of makarioi can denote “being in the state of the gods.”

13:27 – The Sermon on the Mount can be seen as a temple text that includes the 5 covenants in the temple endowment: The Law of Obedience, The Law of Sacrifice, The Law of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, The Law of Chastity, and The Law of Consecration.
