What is #IBGONEIN60SECS?
IB Gone in 60 Secs and its YouTube channel are the platform for International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) students around the world to showcase their content knowledge and communication skills.
Our vision is a vast repository for student generated, teacher moderated video content to help change the world for the better, one school, one student, one minute at a time!
Our mission is to connect every International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) school in the world! Your original, student generated videos will cover a variety of topics currently being taught in IBDP schools and foster a creativity and contribution mindset.
You can demonstrate student agency by sharing your knowledge while helping others revise for their IBDP classes.
Contributions to this channel will be considered as Creativity and Service, helping IBDP students to complete their CAS requirements.
Matthew Manfredi Background Information:
Originally from New York, IB Gone in 60 Secs' founder Matthew J. Manfredi has a vision for showcasing and connecting International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) students around the world. An impassioned educator and innovator for over twenty years, he has worked internationally since 2010. He holds New York State Certifications in School Administration, Social Studies and Physical Education. He was awarded recognition for Exceptional Teaching from Stanford University's Teacher Tribute Initiative. He is also completing Harvard University's Certificate in School Management and Leadership program. This is a joint program of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School. He is currently the Secondary Principal at an IB World school in Austria and enjoys ice hockey, golf, scuba-diving and snowboarding in his spare time.
