Matthew Manfredi & Melanie Kempe share their views on SDG 4 'Quality Education' 

Matthew Manfredi Secondary Principal Danube International School Vienna 

Originally from New York, Matthew J. Manfredi has a vision for showcasing and connecting International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) students around the world called #IBGONEIN60SECS which he shares with us on the podcast. 

An impassioned educator and innovator for over twenty years, he has worked internationally since 2010. He holds New York State Certifications in School Administration, Social Studies and Physical Education. He was awarded recognition for Exceptional Teaching from Stanford University's Teacher Tribute Initiative. He is also completing Harvard University's Certificate in School Management and Leadership program. This is a joint program of the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Harvard Business School. He is currently the Secondary Principal at an IB World school in Austria and enjoys ice hockey, golf, scuba-diving and snowboarding in his spare time.

I can tell you this Matt Manfredi is very lucky to have Mel Kempe on his staff as it’s obvious she is a very knowledgeable and talented lady with a clearly defined vision for where and how she wants to develop and improve the systems that are currently in place at Danube International School Vienna.

I had never spoken to Mel before and had only a short blurb to go on from Matt that he sent me the day before we recorded. I meant it on the podcast when I said to her I want to record a full episode solely with her in the future.
