Matthew trained at the prestigious RADA and soon after graduating landed a prize role in the Graduate alongside Kathleen Turner in the West End. From there he was cast as Kevin in Brothers and Sisters, Phillip Jennings in the spy drama The Americans, and he appeared alongside Matthew Goode in the Wine Show.
