On October 6 1998, Matthew Shepard headed to the Fireside Lounge in Laramie, Wyoming for a cosy drink. Little did he know, getting in that truck with Russell Henderson and Aaron McKinney would lead to the most horrific night of his young life. Setting in motion a chain of events that would forever change the fabric of America.
