As Christians saved by the grace of God through Christ, we must take up the task of active spiritual growth. Jesus reminds us of our sinful nature and implores to seek the greater things of God. Ask, seek and knock are the actions of a believer. We should evaluate the stones and snakes in our lives and recognize God has greater things for us if we actively seek them.
