Monifa previously studied social psychology before completing the Teach First graduate programme and qualifying as a primary teacher. After six years of teaching primary, including achieving a leadership diploma, she decided to make the move to study medicine and is now currently in year one at Liverpool after passing year zero of the Gateway course!
We chat about choosing what is right for you and being confident in your decisions, the shift in dynamics going back on an undergraduate course and the wonders of teaching primary and the skills that brings to medicine!
